The Constance Foundation came to fruition after the success of Hockey 4 Hope. H4H’s first game was played in 2010 and was established in honor of Constance “Connie” Glauser who passed away of breast cancer in May of 2006. Known for her witty humor and quick smile, Connie was mostly admired for her perpetual attitude towards life. For those of us who were lucky enough to know Connie, she truly lived up to her name.

 

The Hockey 4 Hope Charity Game became a staple fundraiser in Binghamton, NY partnering with 

The Geller Oncology Fund. In 2015, Make-A-Wish of CNY & The Lourdes Foundation was an additional benefactor of Hockey 4 Hope proceeds.

 

Hockey 4 Hope became such a success, The Constance Foundation was born with the idea of managing other charity functions focusing on the mission of raising money to alleviate the financial burden associated with cancer.
